Boring meeting

Too many meetings really made me crazy, almost, we spent more than one-third of working time at the meeting. What’s more, some of issues which were discussed during the meeting didn’t reach an agreement. That means to reschedule another meeting to be discussing, such stupid behavior not only lowered the efficiency of working, but wasted all of us huge time. Sometime, it seems very easy thing becoming a complicated case due to many guys involved in it to make the thing getting complexity more and more. In my opinion, too much interference from management also was one of causes. Actually, some trifle things were asking too much from the management, in other words, this is a result of over management.
Mostly, what the boss said during the meeting was to assign the tasks not to communicate with others. Besides the regular weekly meeting, projects review, quality analysis and production meeting were added into schedule. Sometimes, I’m really tired of endless meetings, even want to throw my notebook at the host who’s talking nonsense. But, I knew I didn’t do that, I should keep calm at that moment.

- This really happens and exists in most companies and offices. I meet that too. That is the inefficient method to deal with what should be done in the next step. It only wastes too much precious time and energy on the production. I really do not like that.
Sometimes, we have no choice. We are not the boss, so we have to swallow up the bitterness of that kind of nonsense. But we really realize it is unworkable to discuss that too much. Some meetings are needed to assign and arrange goals and tasks to the staff, while too much of that talking is very likely to result to an endless awful arguments and discriminations.
Those good companies ascribe their success to the high efficiency of strategies making with clear assignments and orders. Everything goes under the principles and rules. Thus they stay competitive to last in the market.

- The main intention of company meetings is to clear obstacles and allow smooth operations, but these meetings often turn into some show of personal gratification or bosses trying to show their influence. Too many cooks spoils the broth.
Competent companies won't waste too much time on such needless meetings and some bigger companies even have efficiency specialists who identify time wasting procedures and correct them.

- yout topic recall me our training department, they like to have the meeting all the time, like trainer meeting, weekly plan meeting, and monthly report meeting, other departments they have their own works, but HR is always using the plenty working time to carry their mission. so ridiculous.

- A coin has two sides. I ever had a meeting since I work, my boss is a very kind man.He nvever ask us to do anythings, all you have to do is to learn by yourself. You can ask, but they never teach. Sometimes I hope we can have a meeting to share or discuss something. If you are an employee, don't complain, try to think as your boss does, do things better. Things can change when you are capable enough to be a boss.
