Too many meetings really made me crazy, almost, we spent more than one-third of working time at the meeting. What’s more, some of issues which were discussed during the meeting didn’t reach an agreement. That means to reschedule another meeting to be discussing, such stupid behavior not only lowered the efficiency of working, but wasted all of us huge time. Sometime, it seems very easy thing becoming a complicated case due to many guys involved in it to make the thing getting complexity more and more. In my opinion, too much interference from management also was one of causes. Actually, some trifle things were asking too much from the management, in other words, this is a result of over management.
Mostly, what the boss said during the meeting was to assign the tasks not to communicate with others. Besides the regular weekly meeting, projects review, quality analysis and production meeting were added into schedule. Sometimes, I’m really tired of endless meetings, even want to throw my notebook at the host who’s talking nonsense. But, I knew I didn’t do that, I should keep calm at that moment.
