The next holiday of Tomb Sweeping Day will be coming next week, it’s a good chance to have a rest at home or have fun with my kids. Sometimes, I felt obliged to spend more time with my family, normally, I have two days with my family every week, in fact, it’s actually less than whole two-day because of something else I need to do during the weekends. So, deducting this time, the rest of time was exact I accompanied my family, sometime, I thought about a lot whether I should go back to the city where my family lived in. I tried to find a good job in that city since last year, unfortunately, there is no more opportunity to find out an appropriate position. What’s more, I even didn’t get a phone call from interviewer in the second half of 2015, let alone finding a better job.
As the proverb goes, you can’t make an omelet without breaking eggs. So, under certain conditions we must adapt to current environment especially you don’t have enough power to make changes.

- A father is most attached to a family with young children. He would like to give the best things and quality time to their loved children wishing that they would grow up to be intelligent and responsible people. There are lots of uncertainties during the years when the children are young and highly dependent on their parents. You have to worry about their health, education, learning, development, personality etc.
Parents are most worried about their own jobs as it is the source of income for the family and children. It is certainly best if you have a good job at your hometown, but the economy is weak and good jobs are hard to find. The most sensible thing to do is to cling on to the present job and keep a lookout for better ones. Nothing is better than your own birthplace where all your family and relatives are. Everything is more secure and easier. That is why I never left my birthplace despite better opportunities elsewhere.
However, as you would probably know, China is making big changes. The focus in the years to come would high end and high tech manufacturing. China would no longer be depending on exports of regular products. The reason for this is there the there are less foreign investment in China, high labor cost and competition from other Asian countries. A lot of people would be out of jobs and there is no sustainable plan for those workers. This is going to be a big problem in the coming years. The good times are almost over and trouble in looming over the horizon.
I own a trading company but there are very few orders. I am surviving only because I have low expenses, own property and very few employees. Other companies which have lots of workers are planning to downsize soon. There is no choice. In my city a lot of businesses are working at a loss at present.
At times like now, it is better to find a safe and long term job which can withstand stormy times.
