   I got the notice from CQNU to send my bank account to them, but they didn’t tell me when to leave. I only heard from other volunteers we would leave for Beijing on Oct.17. I didn’t believe because they didn’t informed us on Oct.10, they could do that on Monday, Oct.13, it was too hurried. In fact , I got the notice this afternoon that we would leave for training in Beijing on Oct.17. I made some calls, sent some messages to other volunteers to ask them to go together with me. As time is too short I got the air ticket at a 60-70 % discount. If time enough, the discount could be 40-50 %. I only had two days to prepare, so this evening  my wife and I went shopping some things and would buy more tomorrow. Though I had prepared before, but now it seemed not enough. I bought mainly clothes and daily essentials besides the laptop and the digital camera I had bought before. These cost me 10,000 yuan.

As time is limited, I had no time to go home to say goodbye to my parents. Later, I was in deep remorse and I thought I shouldn’t do like that. On the night of Oct.16, the school authority gave a farewell dinner to CMK and me.
