What I Read in Books 书中所读得

What's affecting me, like flows of energy from strong to tender ones, are perhaps what in books I can generally read. Yet I am not sure if a book can always serve my intention. Before reading it, I don't require it of anything if I am not to turn to its help — but I set to read it; and if I turn to it, it's as dead as it is, since it won't tell you on which page and in which line there may be a possible answer — and I set to read it all the same.
For most of the time, I am not looking in books for an answer. Instead, I keep reserving them, as if for futural questions; or in another way, I review the answers which I've already had, when there are some of them I all but forget, or some of them welcoming a fairly new taste.
In books we would like to read, we memorialize the old and the habitual, the past and the had; we retrieve the lost and missing and we keep ourselves away from acquiring what we never have. Books we favour always tend to be as congenial as our old friends, while books we don't favour are idiots and aliens.
那像一股股有的强劲有的柔和的能量触动着我的，大概就是我能够在书中普遍读到的东西。然而我并不确定一本书是否就总能满足我的目的。当我读它之前，如果我不是要求助于它，我就对它把并无要求——而我还是会着手去读它；而如果我想求助于它，它就是那么个死物的样子，因为它不会告诉你在哪一页哪一行会有可能的答案——而我一样还是会着手去读它。
大多数时候，我在书中不是找答案。反而，我坚持贮存答案，就好像是为了解答将来的问题一样；或者另一种方式，我复习我已经有的答案，当有的答案我几乎快要忘记，或者有的正要迎来全新的味道。
在我们愿意阅读的书里，我们纪念老旧的和惯有的，过去的和已有的；我们重拾失去的东西，并保持远离习得自己从未有过的。我们偏爱的书更像我们的老朋友一样合意，而同时我们不喜欢的书就像蠢人或者异类。

- I was once a bookworm. I not only borrowed books from the library but also bought masterpieces at bookstores. As I got older my passion for reading faded away. Now I have a heavy workload on teaching and continuous household chores. With the spare time decreasing, I can hardly find enough time to read without being interrupted. At first I would feel guilty when I failed to read as usual for doing some housework. But afterwards I got used to such circumstances and watched TV instead of reading even when I was free. I usually switched to the programs interesting mother at certain times. I enjoyed sharing the merriment those programs brought about with mother. It is your writings that awake my dormant and sluggish faculties for reading as before.
