Those who know to love their lives know as well to be magnanimous. They will never lose themselves in serious overcaution, since they are never thinking too much about the fact that one day they will pass away. However precious one's life is, he can never predict soon after the last wave of misfortune has all but retired, where the next wave will be flooding; and the bud of hope which has only just become green can never foreknow how suffocating it will be to bear the next time of crush. Therefore, let us just turn around and ignore the desperation and nothingness of death, and live always proudly and light-heartedly without apprehension. Then it will appear as if life will never be lost, and the misfortunes will never fall upon; and I have never been asking from life for more, since those bits of life itself just resemble a spatter of rain, of which every drop is an entirely different baptism.
热爱生命的人还懂得一种大气。热爱生命的人，从来不会去想自己终究有一天会失去生命的缘故，而让自己陷入谨小慎微。纵然生命有再多的珍贵，当绝望的洪水退去，下一波洪水永远不知道会淹没哪里；而已见绿的希望的苞芽永远不知道下一次碾压会有多窒息。所以，且让我们还是转回去，无视了绝望与死亡的虚无，大气地去生活吧。就仿佛生命从来都不会失去，绝望从来都不会降落；而我从来不再要求生命给予我更多，因为生命的点滴就好像一阵细雨，而它的每一滴又都是截然不同的洗礼。
