Father and Son Alike 父子相像

Both my father and I will refute whenever we are pointed out to be alike. In my father's eyes, I'm not as strong, as quick-minded and as powerfully sensitive of direction. "You are ninty-nine percent from your incapable mother", he's always saying, and the left one percent is to prove he's the other biological parent. And I, too, will never admit having been like my father, who's too far from being brilliant, patient and considerate, and from being like a writer who likes possibly anything but money.
每当我们被指出我俩很相像，我老爸和我都会坚决否决。在我老爸的眼里，我没他壮，没他反应灵活，没他有高度发达的方向感。“你百分之九十九踏的是你那没用老妈的代”，他总是说；而那剩下的百分之一就是用来证明他这个爸爸是亲生的。而我也一样，绝不会承认自己有像过自己老爸——他这人远远不够聪慧、耐心和体贴，也远不像一个喜欢什么也不会喜欢钱的作家。
Anyway, before I had had any opinions about my father, my father had already been never-resting in ways to affirm that I am his son. Nevertheless, everytime he wants to do so, he does it in any manner except by telling directly "this son is my like". When he sees me or hears me on the phone, he cheers, "ahh, my son"; when we are out for a banquet, he sits beside me as a rule, and forever seems bigger than me no matter how much in years I have grown.
不过呢，在我对我老爸有过任何观点之前，我老爸就早已在乐此不疲地强调着我是他的儿子。然而，每当他要那样做，不管用什么方式，他都不会告诉人说“这儿子就是我的样”。当他见到我或者接到我的电话，他会开心的喊：“诶，儿子！”当我们出门上酒席，他会照例坐到我的旁边，永远都是比我更大一号的样子，不管好些年来我有长大多少。
The recent months ago, my father became ill unexpectedly. Then in just dozens of days, he lost all his hair — which had not been too much at first — and became clearly bald. But actually, I was not at all stupid to find that a bald head is so, in a word, striking; so soon after I went to the barber's and had all my hair cut. Guess what? My father blamed me severely for my being "stupid, strikingly stupid".
在最近几个月前，我老爸意外地得了病。后来短短几十天里，他就掉光了他所有的头发——本来就不怎么多的头发——而变得完全秃了顶。但是我竟然丝毫不感到白痴地觉得一颗秃头是如此的，用一个词说，劲爆；于是没过几天我就去理发店把我的头发也剃光光了。你猜怎么着？我老爸很严厉地责备我“白痴，真是个白痴”。

And in these years, I unluckily gain a lot of weight. I seem to have filled out into a very dull figure. And when I step, I wave like a duck. When I walk towards someone with a few books under my arm, I won't think about anything but my father walking proudly with a briefcase, his belly pointing up, just like, as he claims, the boss like. And I feel proud as well to be like a boss, a boss like my father, whom when they see my walking to them will refer to at once — a bald-head old man, who has never been blessed with any large fortune, but an excellent son like him.
而这两年，我很不幸长胖了不少。我似乎长成了一副很笨拙的身形。每当我踏出步去，我就晃悠得像只鸭子。当我夹着几本书朝人走去时，我想到的不会是别的，而是我的老爸夹着一个公文包，骄傲的走着，肚子挺得高高的，就好像，正如他所自称，大老板的派头。而我也自豪自己就像个大老板，像我老爸一样的大老板。当有人看到我向他们走去的样子，他们就会提起我父亲：一个秃头的老人，没有享受过任何幸运的财富，除了有个像他一样的优秀的儿子。

- you are lucky son.the same as your father,my father also looks different with me.he is very thin,i am very strong;he is a silent person,i am a lively person.he is a quietly person,i am a irritability person.and so on.but those difference couldn't affect our relationship.he cared about me very much.
