I went to 劲歌金曲 with Eason fans on May 23. During the program, I found out a very good song named 《风的季节》by SOLER. This song regains my confidence in nowaday Cantonese songs. The melody is of 1980s’ style, simple with crisp rhythm, but the whole arrangement sounds like pop rock with popular elements. I love the guitar solo so much that I couldn’t help trying this song in RED BOX on May 28 and sharing this song with some of my friends who love Cantonese songs too. 

 

The day before yesterday, when I was promoting this song to Jocelyn, she beat my confidence simply by telling me that Soler is not the original singer of 《风的季节》, 徐小凤 is! It is not even accounted as a 1980s’ song. 

In the recent 3 years, Eason mentions many times that he wants to reinterpret some classic Cantonese songs and I am very looking forward to it! Just think about 《不再问究竟》《遥远的她》《一生中最爱》《有了你》《奋斗》！Of course I am hoping KK and Paul to remix some Kakui’s works in the coming concert, too. 

By the way,  I even find this on YOUTUBE 囧囧囧 
So I am not the only one who love Cantonese songs but fail to pronounce Cantonese right! 囧
