It is widely accepted that Hong Kong is kind of a culture desert which I totally agree. When you are looking around book shops in Hong Kong, you will find out that there are not many wonderful books worth reading at least Chinese books, not mention that the price is pretty high. On the other hand, people can borrow maximal 6 books from public libraries all over Hong Kong without any deposit or service fee.
As it is my new year's resolution (again:P) to read a book every month, I went to Grand Hall library to borrow some books. After a quick look, I end up borrowing one Chinese book about YiJing and one English book newly published which I have no idea of its contents. The only reason I focus on it is that it seems very simple! I also pick up 4 CDs, one classical music, one piano music, and two David Bowie's best works(→ this is the point:P ).
I will try my best not to pay overdue fine this time. Even if there is no service fee for borrowing book, I never manage to read book for free as I never return the books on time!
