Being new again

Hot 2564 views. 2014-7-19 15:40 | really

At an age near 40, I replaced my job with a new one.
But I really don't want this, I am forced.
Looking back to the path I walked through, I realized how bad I am at career planning. Directionless, meaningless switching, too much time, too many times.
I wasted much, much of time, much of experiencing.
Life is always full of challenges whose levels are different. And now, I have to be at a low level to face its challenges.
Do my best, cherish my own. For today, for tomorrow, for past, and for many more.

Every stage we have to meet new challenges, though at the age of 40 is somewhat a time for going further, it is still all right. We know that there are so many obstcles ahead of us. Career planning is to do strict schedule time table, while mostly we just can not foresee the future and it is really hard to see that, only can we do is to live at present, cherish what we have in the right moment.
It is a new beginning, not that bad, we are on the way seeing more scenic views, after rain strom, it is there with rainbow.

You are being unfair to yourself by evaluating your past career in such a way. Those were the days when everything was developing and nothing is certain. Those who had powerful connections got the plum and most desirable jobs, while those who did not have connections were left to struggle from the bottom up. Good jobs are hard to come by.

Would it have been better if you stayed with to single company all along?
I don't think so. You would blame yourself for not venturing while there were chances outside. In other words, no matter what you did, the result would be more or less the same because you are just an ordinary person and career life won't be easy for you. You have to make extra efforts.

Now you are 40, so what? It is the golden years for men. There is still a great future ahead of you. Be on the lookout for possible opportunities. Assess any chance that comes to you and seize it if it suits you. Don't be afraid of challenges. There would be no improvement if there are no challenges.

Anything is possible. Face the future with strength, vigor and confidence.
