Had noodles on boss' treat

"Had Lanzhou noodles this noon," our boss proposed, "my treat".

He is an old man and spent many years abroad.

"My conclusion is not zhengzong,"he ate some and said.

"Where are the beeves?" he smiled and asked.

I came to know that he meant beeves less.

"Did you come to this restaurant and eat?" I asked him when we left.

"No. I went to Lanzhou for business and ate."

Reply xingyue 2014-8-26 16:35: We always seek meat in noodles indeed, no matter where are we. Some original and authentic foods are hard to find though there are so many similar restaurants.

Reply dousaiyan 2014-8-26 23:12: I never look for meat when I eat meals. Because I don't like eating meat. But for who like meat, they will feel be cheated when they eat beef noodle without beef. So, we should find a relative famous place to eat when we go to a unfamiliar city.
