My Favorite City – Beijing
I always think about which city appeals to me most, and I find the answer little by little, that is – Beijing. Beijing, known as the capital of China, stands high reputation all over the world. It is well-known that Beijing is never lack of human landscapes. The Palace Museum, Summer Palace, Beijing Lama Temple… All of these attract me as if an invisible string, hitching my affection tightly. And immersing myself in the history of Beijing, I found how hard this city has gone through and how precious it is for us. However, the charm of Beijing is far no more than this. In fact, the natural landscapes in Beijing are also magnificent which is often forgotten by people. Take Huairou, one of suburbs of Beijing, for example. There are so many valleys and hills like Qinglong Valley, Shengquan Hill. You can not only enjoy climbing here, but also kill your time by fishing, swimming or eating rural meals. I always feel comfortable into this quiet rural land. Last but not least, Beijing is my hometown which is just like the root of a tree. People tend to have a sense of nostalgia when you’re away from your hometown for a long time. Therefore, I love Beijing from the bottom of my heart.
