The subjects would not be divided into Liberal arts and science department. And students can select subjects to take part in examinations according to the requirement of certain university and own relative advantages. For me, I like this adjustment. Students can choose the courses that learned better. Once, I was interested in one course belonged to science but I am in the arts class, so we have no chance to learn it any more. Once, I learned difficultly about some courses but have to have tests. On the other hand, the students must learn more subjects, and maybe it would be a pressure, but it is also a good way to absorb more knowledge. Finally, hope what one is good at coincides with the university’s requirement.

For the foreign language, it is worth of keeping. Anyway, we are opening-up, and globalization and internationalization are popular. Of course, it need take more efforts to learn well for some students. As for the two chances, it is no big favor for those who performed normal in the exam, while it is precious those didn’t do well. It’s valued. Finally, which score would be the final outcome between the two examinations if the second time is worse than the first.

All in all, I am looking forward more details and the coming process. As the time-table said, the reform starts in 2014, and expects the new examination system will be established generally with Chinese characteristics in 2020. I think it is really a short period. It would be better to have a slow and long developing process in my mind. Of course, it's an experimental schedule, and a reform is always full of difficulties and challenges, so we need comprehend and support.
