Today is the first day I write an article on dioenglish and the 30th day in my new school --shanghai international studies university.

In university,what impress me most were abundant student union departments and clubs. After several application deliveries and tense interviews,I was admitted to three of them. I have realized that such an amount of extra work are waiting for me to deal with besides my major study that it may be an enormous challenge for me to balance the time . So I have given up the chance to do volunteers in a zoo which I think is a reasonable choice. Having been appointed as different kinds of student cadres at one time in high school, I have the confidence that I can still manage it and forge myself into an all-round person. As is known to all ,a university is a tiny society ,I aspire to experience as much as i can ,accumulating more work experience,expanding my social circle,in a word ,making adequate preparations to step into the real society after several years.

In the afternoon ,I chatted with a good friend on wechat . She is a recruit in Nanjing university who was my classmate in high school. She said that she is busy with study at present, as an autonomous learner,apart from advanced math , physics, computer,English and sociology,she is teaching herself Japanese , micro-economics and philosophy. Although she seemed to need a lot of sleep in high school,she said that she only sleep six hours a day now and have lost the habit of sleeping at noon,which surprised me a lot. Nevertheless, I can understand it well when she told me that she felt every day is pleasant and meaningful for she has sufficient flexible time to do what she liked. The kind of feeling that time always flies when one is immersed in something also strike me when I read or write . Knowledge is liken to a luminous torch in front of us guiding us to struggle for it,despite all the obstacles and depressions in the journey ,we are overwhelmed with enthusiasm to pursue it ,and as a spillover,enrich our life and ghost .

Before I came to university,what I had planned to do is to be a multilingual journalist in Xinhua News Agency. However ,having done practice work as a temporary reporter in a weekly newspaper ,I found myself not so interested in it,which pushed me into a total confusion --what kind of target is suitable for me on earth? Fortunately ,I discovered it when several lectures about university life and career were delivered to us. Yes ,brand marketing or business administration and in general something about helping the company function and develop well,that is my new direction!

At the same time, I noticed a name of a business college come out of our teacher’s mouth--HEC. The most distinguished one among a number of outstanding business colleges in French. Will I be qualified to be admitted to such a world-famous college, when French and business management are still unknown to me? And what about the high expenses for studying abroad which is certainly cannot be afforded by an ordinary village family ? Poring over these questions ,I almost shrank back . However, more meditation have brought me more courage and confidence . A sentence is always ringing in my mind :” nothing is impossible .” 

As long as I make sufficient endeavors to chase my dream,I certainly have the chance to realize it .

So ,this is one of my steps --to be fluent in English .

I consider dioenglish is a great platform for me to learn English. And now I have opened my blog,by writing blogs ,I am desire to be more skilled in writing . In that case ,I will be really appreciate it if you are willing to provide me with some suggestions on expressions or just every thing you would like  to tell me .

On the road to my dream,I believe I am not alone.
