Being the master of life instead of slave

I take part in an English conrner since school opened. It's a small group with several people on every Wednesday. The members come from various universities. Most of them just wanna improve oral English. For me, it's not the total meaning.
We talk about the book《the purpose driven life》, which is about purposeful devotion to a Christian God. In the spare time, we read the book carefully. When it comes to Wednesday, we share our ideas or put forward questions about the book. The specific contents relate to the prupose of life, how to know God, why am I here, how to treat the unfair matters and any other philosophcial questions. It's the matters that we seldom take time to ponder, at least I am.
I have to admit that my mind is opened and I can think about something deeper things through the communication. It's unthinkable before I come into contact with these matters. In my opinion, we not only need to improve our professional skills but also need to improve our ideology. Being a person who is cultured and thoughtful. Moreover, there is another benefit that the English corner brings me. I can relax myself by communicate with others, especially the spiritual pressure. I am occupied with a variety of trivial things every day, such as study, community activities, part-time job and so on. Actually, I am tired of dealing with these affairs. I really wanna avoid them for a short time. What I like the English corner is that it gives me the chance to get rid of the daily hassles and to ponder the unknown field. I really enjoy this course and I will regard this activity as the routine.
The modern society is developing more and more fast, the pace of life is also becoming faster. We have to struggle for the living, however, we usually ignore to relax ourselves. Maybe it's the reason why so many people have the psychological problems. All in all, please remember:being the master of life instead of slave.
