Recently I always feel confused about my future life, and it's hard for me to calm down and enjoy my life. So I read some books to help me be serene and the most impressive one of which was Chen Ai Luo Ding, written by A Lai. It tells us a story about Tusi, the leader of Tibetan tribes in Sichuan, and his son who is seen as an idiot. Their family was powerful at first. But the society changed fast and their family declined gradually. At last Tusi died and their tribes disappeared. Everything settled. I like the son. All the people regard him as an idiot but as I am concerned he is actually the most intelligent person in this story. Other people are restricted by the traditional ideas and don’t know how to pursue the things they want. But the so-called idiot knows it. When other people are faced with difficulties, he can always have good solutions. In my perspective, people call him idiot because they don’t understand him. All the people want to possess wealth except him. The ending is kind of tragical, but the idiot remains happy because he is satisfied with his life. That is the thing really matters.
