Yes,you haven't misread it,it is a controversy with teacher!with teacher!
Today in the aternoon just on the class,when our teacher is teaching about the relationship between ocean and countries,one of my classmate stand up and say:"no,I don't agree with your viewpoint! I think the war between two counties cannot judge with fair or unfair,they both fight for their own benefits......"The teacher disagree with him,so they debate together,without permission.During the controversy,the student is execting and express his idea with loud vioce and waving gesture.But our teacher just stand there with smile on face even if the student becoming more and more incontrollable.At last,a student who pass by our class come in and want to join in their controversy,so the scene begin with confusion and end up with confusion.
It is luckyily that the controversy appears in the class,it means that the atomosphere of freedom academic discussion is come into being in our college.But I also need to say that,the one having his own ideology is nice,while the thought also needs control,the uncontrolled woolgather is useless,and whenever how exciting you were,the etiquette is a thing you cannot lose,especially facing the teacher.

- Your teacher is wise and the student is brave.Actually,excellent controversy can stimulate eveyone's ideas.

- A controversy between teachers and students can hardly happen in my college. We just receive the information what teachers give, which can be called as rote learing pattern. No wonder. No question. On the other hand, though the collision of thought can blurt out spark, the proper respect to teacher is also needed.

- maybe I am wrong, but I think thoughts need to be organized rather than controlled. I believe people have their freedom to think freely because they have their own free will .No one can judge others' feelings and thoughts because this is who they are and as long as their thoughts harm nobody . BTW, If someone feel the classroom order should be restored, why there is no one stand out and be the wise one to express their concerns and give some useful suggestions instead of letting the things continuing?

- yeah,in China the rote learing pattern is such a common scene,and the controversy i discribe in my class is a special incident which i first see in the class.It makes me imagine in my mind that if celebrities in the Peking University in the period of New Culture Movement were also debat like that.

people have their own thought is ok,but sometime if different ideas can't have collision there won't be more fresh idea,so the suitable comunicate should be also needed.

- But as for what is a fresh idea or a wise question or a brilliant thought , different people have different views. There is always no standard to which is good question and which is not .of course , some questions do make us feel bored and worth nothing to US ,but doesn't mean they are worth nothing to others. At least , it does have value to the one who bring it up and this question reflectes a brainstorming did occure in his mind. Further if the whole ducussion goes too far beyond control, it totally depends on whether you want you precious time wasted or be brave enough to tell you cannot take it any more this boring and useless debate. thank u ~

- yes,i know what you mean,it is just like that you like apple but i don't like it,it is no use to argue with it. and i know the debate,in my school i have ever attend a debate,it sounds like both of them are trying all best to make the other side agree with their opinion,but actually there will be no possible to accomplish it because the basic of debate is that never agree with your opponent.so every time i see the debate is just like two tigers fighting,but none of them can get success,just to judge out who's behavior is better.
