Some Customs in China

China is a country with a long history , so there are many customs in it .
Firstly, you are supposed to shake hands when you meet someone for the first time. Secondly , when you eat dinner with other people , it is rude to point at others with your chopsticks. Besides , if you are going to a party, you are supposed to arrive at the party on time , or a few minutes late . You are not supposed to give a clock to your friends as a present, because the sound of it means "death " in Chinese . "When in Rome , do as the Romans do ." If you are going to China , please follow the customs.

- Sometimes, I feel embarrassed when I forget the customary rules. For example, I am supposed to say ''Let eat together'' when eating with the elderly or a group of people. I just started eating without saying anything.
In the spring festival, we are not supposed to go to friends homes for greetings on the third day of the Spring Festival, but went without know this. They say there would be quarrels if you go on this day. Now I know and would not go on the third day.
I love the food and treats of the Spring Festival. Can't wait to eat all those Jiao Zi and my absolute favorite ''Nian Gao''.

jiao zi is very popular in the North of China , but it maybe not the favorite menu in the South .
