I am a basketbal fanatic. During my college days, I usually played basketball for nearly a whole afternoon with my classmates. And I like watching NBA, which gives me so much experience of exciting. Luckly, CBA games is reaching a higher and higher level during the last few years, so we can enjoy basketball game much more in surporting our demostic teams. These days is the final season of CBA and Beijing and Liaoning are fiercely competing for the championship. In the 4-out-of-7 games, the two teams are 2-2 at present. Who will win 2 more games is still hard to tell.
Unlike during the college days, I play basketball much less now, but the enthusiasm of watching games on TV is not at the least reduced. Why? what about the game attract me, and other fanatics, to watch the game even though unable to participant in it? I thought about the question and get my own answer. it may be because we can see something that lacks in our own life, or something that needs to re-injected into our own life: the spirit to fighting for the best, the holding of confidence and courage when competing with someone seamingly stronger than us, the belief that anything is possible if we keep fighting.
Of course we may reach a low point occationally, just like sometimes a basketball team loses a game or lags behind the rival. But this is just temporary and we can definitly reverse the situation as soon as possible if we believe in ourselves and keep fighting at an appropriate pace. There are always stories about unbelievable reverse on basketball matches and other sports. Why couldn't this happen in our work, in our life? The Olympic spirit is not just about sports, it's more about our life.
That's what sports mean for me, and maybe also for you?
