Some words about travelling abroad.

Hot 4657 views. 2015-3-8 23:32 |Individual Classification:Daily Talk| understand, different, because, already, people

I love travelling abroad, not because I had stayed in England for three years, but because it is indeed the best way to broaden my horizons. Mostly, I could get to understand different cultures, appreciate diverse sceneries and communicate with people from different ethnic backgrounds, which can really benefit a lot. So far, I have already been to England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Island, Holland, France, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates, among which, I love England best with its nice people, beautiful scenery and clean environment. Yet still, I'm planning to visit one or two countries each year in the future. However, I know that as a female, living in China, you are supposed to stay at home often to take care of your family, especially after you get married ,or you would be regarded as "weird". Anyhow, women are under great social expectation in this land which is conservative. It seems that a female's exclusive task is to get married when they arrive at a certain age, after which give birth to babies when they get old enough, which is totally adverse from Western countries where everyone equally pursues freedom in a wonderland that endow them with adequate liberties. That is why I had deeply regretted coming back to China one year ago, for I have been totally trapped now ,which is unlike before, when nice time always passed quickly. Since I have already been staying in China for more than one year now , I have to adapt to this kind of life, and try to find some self-entertainments in this tough world where everyone lives under stress. No matter what, my dream of travelling around the world will invariably be unchanged. Hope it will not be detered by realities.

it is ok staying in china, maybe you think the culture or the surroundings trap from flying higher but the reality is you are not really prepared for your travelling.  Be free from the society and well-communicate and well-plan for you life spending and life step. Cheer up, girl.

I am a British Citizen born in China, so I can understand clearly your thoughts and views. I agree that girls in China are under unnecessarily heavy pressure in terms of education, social life, career and marriage. I myself find it hard to detach myself from China because I have grown up here and have all my friends here, but on the other hand, I also like to style of life in England. You are fortunate to have the chance to travel and see and experience the western lifestyles. Since you have seen those countries yourself, I guess I do not need to introduce them to you. Don't let the pressures of living in China affect you. Everyone has his own choices and aspirations. Travelling the world is a good experience and the dreams of a lot of people. I trust your dreams would true.

Hi Sunnyv, thanks a lot for your concerning. Nice to talk to you. Sorry for the late reply as I have been extremly busy in the recent several days. Since you were born here, you don't usually stay in England long, do you? The only way making me feel better is to try to change my way of living and adapt it to the Chinese style. As you can't change anything around you with your feeble power, you have to alter your own behaviours and adapt it to a local standard, which is reassuring. I love travelling. Hopefully I can travel half of the world in my lifetime. Thanks a lot for your encourage Sunnyv. I really appreciate.
