Aa uaual, I went back to my rent place by subway after I finished the whole day work. It was a little bit late after I reached the place I live. So I went for the fast food restaurant to have my dinner. After the dinner , I went for the nearby supermarket to buy some fruits. When I finished the shopping and walked out the supermarket, the singing show took my attention. The singing show was organized and acted by five handicapped people. Their activity was stopped by the chengguan (city inspector). The chengguan said that it was not allowed to sing in the roadside, so both sides was stucked at there for half of an hour. One handicapped person took the main role to persuade the chengguan to let them sing there, he promise the chengguan that they will lower the speaker volumn. One of the five hanicapped, a middle years aunty was shoutting that they just tryed to make a living by themself , they were not going to thief or rob. She was taking the main conflicted role with the chengguan, some of the pedestrian, who also standed out to shout with the chengguan. Five handicapped were gained the most sympathy from the pedestrian. After a long time of stalemate, the chengguan finally agreed with the five handicapped's proposal that they would just sing till 9'oclock under the condition of lowering the speaker volume. Five handicapped sang a song respectively, One blind person took a talent show for playing the flute. Surrounding pedestrian devoted the money to the donation box each after each in the process.
I saw a lot of people who are peasant worker or elder grandmother-type aunty , they are not rich but they are not stingy to take some little cash to the donation box. I was moved by the scene what I saw last night. In this strange city, People from different parts of the China comes to this southern metropolitan to make a living. We were probably not saying hi even we glanced at each other's eyes when we walked fast in the road. But most people stayed more than one hour for watching a show which was acted by five handicapped, who gained a lot of our sympathy , for me, it lets me know that my heart is till soft when I live in this steel and concrect city. Even more, I know that there is love in this metropolitan city shenzhen too.

- Those god damned Chengguan or hawker control police can be quite ruthless. I have seen them bullying those poor helpless people to the extreme. I understand that they are diligently doing their job, but sometimes they need to show compassion, otherwise public would despise them. As long as they are not really blocking traffic or pedestrians, they should be tolerated reasonably.
A problem which bothers me are the mentally sick people on the streets. Several times in Guangzhou, I was stopped by them on the streets. One of them blocked my way, held my shirt and sang songs loudly to me. I tried to free myself but could not and nobody offered assistance. Finally, two young guys hand gestured to me to push him away. Finally, I managed to free myself with their help.
In the evening or night when the Chengguan are not around, the night market springs up and sell lots of things like food and other things. It is these night markets that make Guangzhou so lively.
