a sudden unexpectedly hail

Have you seen a hail which is look like an egg? i saw it in my city last night! Fristly it was a light rain.however,it was larger gradually after some minutes.Hail fell the streets,the windoes,the everywhere with a huge wind and a large sound.My daughter was so scard that she asked me to hug her toughly.When hail stoped,i opened my circle of friends on the wechat,seeing many pictures in which were showd a few ruined car.It was a terrible thing.My husband runed down the stairs to detect our car's safety.it is good!Thanks god!

- I have seen these hails in person some year ago. I was a bit scared to see those hails, the size of a ping pong ball, falling down all around me and one piece hit hard on ears and shoulder. I saw the glass windscreens of cars shattered one by one. Some of the cars looked expensive and I feel bad for the owners. I often hear people say falling hails are a bad omen and sufferings would follow the falling of hails. Those are superstitions, so we should only take that as a tea time joke and not take it seriously. Don't worry, not everyday can be sunshine and there's got to be rain sometimes.
