The Basketball And The Stranger

Last night, I played basketball alone in an empty basketball court. It is a short free time for me to relax, no question to consider, no matter had to work. I ran with the ball like a kid, shot the basketball seriously and jumped under the basketry as I can.
I shot the ball, it bounced off the basketry and rolled towards a stranger. The man threw the ball back to me. "Thanks." I said. He didn’t speak any thing. I continued to play my basketball, kept running and stop to shoot. Several times, as the first time, the ball bounced and rolled in the direction to him, he got the ball and passed the ball of me, he had no other action, just look at me. At first, I ignored him. But about 15 minutes went by, nothing changed, I asked him, ”would you like to play with me?””no, thanks””why not go home?””I just walk outdoors without intention.” So I play the ball again and the stranger kept standing there.
Finally, the man went towards me and protect the basketry----defend. It was a surprise for me, I like one-on-one hits. The first attack failed, I pass the ball of him and want him to attack and I defend, but he refused, “I haven’t played basketball for a long time. You attack.” We continue our pair playing. There were a few wonderful attacks, I could feel the man seldom exercised because he was quickly tired, that means what he said is real.”I would go back, where would you go?””I walk outdoors and return later.””thanks for your playing, bye.” The stranger was still there, I didn’t know who he is, where he to come from.Maybe he had some worried things or he was free his mind just like me.

- Interesting encounter. Wonder where he is from and what is on his mind. Sometimes, I go out for an evening in the big park near my home. I try to talk to people sitting alone and when they respond, I am often surprised by their stories. At least they are not holding cellphones.

- I'm a phone freak, I also like playing basketball, but that was a long time ago, when I enter the college, I owned. a computer, so excited, I played. computer games with my fellow citizen, I was regret doing like that when I remember it, As the proverb says, idle young, needy old.
