Victoria's Secret is an American designer, manufacturer and marketer of premium lingerie, and it is now known by all as the largest American retailer of women's lingerie, The company sells lingerie, women’s wear, and beauty products through its catalogs, website, and its U.S. branches.

Beyond all question, the marketing of Victoria's Secret is successful. The marketing process involves creating and capturing customer value. The founder of Victoria's Secret, Raymond, studied the lingerie market for eight year before establishing Victoria's Secret, a store in which men could feel comfortable buying lingerie.

Besides, over the course of Victoria's Secret's evolution, the company "has gone from being value-driven to creating a luxury-shopping experience and an aura of fashion associated with its product" which has been driven by marketing. (Traub, M & Marsh, L, 2008) The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is an annual "elaborate marketing tool for Limited Brands" provided by top musicians and top models called Victoria's Secret Angels which attracts the world’s attention every year. This showed that the company has created value for customers. Moreover, Victoria's Secret host two biggest sale events which are called semi annual sale. First one is on January and 2nd on June of same year. During semi annual sale, one can buy their favorite item at up to 60% off the retail price. (Wells, D, 2015) This showed the company has built profitable relationships and created customer delight. In reward, the company make lots of profits every year by capturing value from customers.

In conclusion, the marketing strategy Victoria’s Secret using is quite smart.

Victoria Secret is everywhere. They are in all the major big shopping malls here in my city. Indeed, this brand name is hugely successful. They have got everything right, starting from an attractive catchy brand name, popular products, sensible pricing and customer satisfaction.
