Today is Chinese New Year’s Eve, I am sure each family is looking forward all members are sitting together at home with their parents, the delicious foods will be showed on the dining table, no matter too expensive have to buy, as long as a fancy dinner that’s our Chinese way of this day.

As usual we would go to Tiger’s home with his parents and his brother, surely like every family in China go to husband’s home for this day. Since I have married I have never gone back to my home at the special eve. Even I refused to obey by kidding, Tiger knows that I am reluctant on it and he always tells me seriously, forget about it, just let it go.

This year my family is something special at today, my mother-in-law has passed away at the last year, so this is the first year only my father-in-law left at home, due to A Yi will go back her home town during the spring festival as normal years. He would ask to go a nursing home which is more healthy and quiet, and there is 24 hours service, instead of staying at home lonely. We agree his idea only for a month there. The nursing home is in suburbs and not near from downtown, so we will go to there every day for visiting during the holiday. After two or three days, I can see from his face, he has been adaptation to the environment. New Year’s Eve Dinner we will stay with him in there and we have ordered big dinner menu in the restaurant. I am sure this New Year’s Eve is really special.
