The 2016 G20 Hangzhou summit was the eleventh meeting of the Group of Twenty (G20), it was hold on 4-5 September 2016 in the city of Hangzhou, It was the first ever G20 summit to be hosted in China and the second Asian country after2010 G20 Seoul summit was hosted in South Korea.

I don’t like to talk about political issues; everyone can see it from anywhere in media. So impressive me was the G20 Gala event which was directed by the famous director Zhang Yi Mou, On the evening of Sep 4th, I believe all the Chinese was sitting in front of TV to feel the passion of China from the performances on live, a large scale theatrical performance was carried out and became the must-watch attraction of the G20 summit, the show “Impressions of West lake”, as a normal evening event for tourists and residents of Hangzhou, but because of the significance of G20,the theatrical performance became dramatically upgraded to be part of an amazing evening gala for world leaders, the stage was set three centimeters below water, with a symphony of performances from dance, opera, piano solos etc, bringing together the beauty and elegance of China and the West.

Original ballet of Swan Lake was from Russia, after the event, Zhang YM was interviewed by the reporter, he believes the president Putin has never seen this kind of Swan Lake was dancing on the water in China, he was sense of humor to tell. The whole Gala was full of Chinese sense and feeling from the back drop of the light and the music. To be Chinese we are so proud to be the host the wonderful event.
