2018 FIFA world cup is ongoing in Russia starting from June 14 and will end the final match on July 15 2018. The country was awarded the hosting rights on Dec 2 2010. It is the first time Russia is hosting the World Cup. Russian President Putin has welcomed the ‘friendly global family’ of football fans to celebrate the world cup, hitting a unifying note to start the tournament.
I don’t know FIFA means for what? I just checked my digital dictionary; Federation International Football Association, on my understanding is the global match of football. I am not the funs for football; I never stay up to watch the game like most of young guys, but I like this kind of atmosphere after the hit the home, everybody will be happy and cheer up for the golden foot.
Just got the information this morning, Russia routs Saudi Arabia 5-0 in world cup. From the news I can feel Russian how happy they are at the opening match in hosting place, maybe president Putin was there for cheer up.
