Online chatting won't fulfill your life

Hot 1753 views. 2017-6-22 08:06

I was motivated by the concept: population scale from an online lesson regarding how to attract followers.

That means the number of readers is related to the number of friends on Wechat contacts.

Maintaining a Wechat subscription is like running a shop, if the shop sits in the middle of CBD, then more customers will be available.

The same as a subscription, the more friends on the contact list; the more opportunities will open to us.

The lecturer said he had 10,000 contacts on his three mobile phones, if 10% join him, there will be 1000 followers.

However, if there are only 1000 friends on Wechat, followers will be 100.

That’s a big difference.

It sounds like a good idea to me.

Look at my Wechat; there were less than 100 because I only accepted a few friend requests and deleted some I have never met.

The reason is that I hate texting and don’t know if I trust them or not, some guys have no profile photo and no posting at the moment. They are invisible.

Starting a subscription is always hard; we need mind-like people to join us.

Wechat People nearby shows a neighbor my blogs.

In China, my account might be blocked; no one can find me from the nearby function.

Fortunately, it works very well in Melbourne; there are almost 12 to 20 friend requests per day.

Most of them are professionals because my place is surrounded by banks and headquarters in the heart of the business center.

Initially, I expected people were joining Englishpassion directly (the code at the bottom of the blog), but quite a lot of Aussies have no idea how to use it; they don’t know where my blogs are.

After online classes, I changed mind. Probably, I should accept more locals including travelers; they could be my potential readers one day if there is 10% chance, the more friends, the better.

Some do enjoy my blogs; they give likes and ask questions, which is good.

On the other hand, it brings trouble; some people are very friendly, once I accept them, they text back immediately: “Hi, how are you? What’s your name? What are you doing? Can we chat?”

My lord, if I spend 2 minutes on each person, 20*2= 40, I will waste 40 minutes per day, and some of them might still not satisfied.

For example, I was very kind to one guy as he read my articles, whenever he sent me a message, I texted back.

One day, I was busy without paying attention to his message, a few days later he deleted me.

Since then, I decided not texting back if someone only says hi without referring to blogs.

I changed what’s up on Wechat: for my blogs, no chat, please.

It doesn't mean I don’t like communicating with people, yes, I enjoy it very much, but I can’t stand repetitive words 100 times: “What’s your name? Where are you from? What are you doing?”

Friends, if you care about me, please read blogs, it’s all about my personal life.

If you trust me, please tell your stories, or if you have concerns, please ask, and I would appreciate if you leave a comment at the bottom of a blog.

Just please don’t ask questions I have already written in blogs, I am not interested, and can’t afford to waste precious time tell ten people ten times.

My time is limited; I’d go to work, almost 10 hours a day, doing housework, cooking, having dancing classes, physical exercises, shopping, writing two articles a week and meeting friends occasionally, the rest of the time reading books.

Then you understand I do not have free time text you back 2 minutes*20 people =40 minutes a day answering the same questions over and over, which will kill me.

I can tell that you treasure friendship very much; you might put friends on your priority list.

If you don’t mind, I am keen on knowing your stories, but please do not ask dull questions.

I totally understand your feeling being ignored after sent out texting messages without hearing feedback.

I had the same experience as you guys years ago. I was bored, I felt something missing in life, though I worked eight hours a day and attended lots of activities including the meetup group.

But I didn’t feel full and hopefully find someone who could text with, who would like to share my stories.

As I regarded it as an important thing to tell friends my thoughts, meanwhile, they should also put me in mind by texting back immediately.

I waited and waited with no reply after sending out messages, which frustrated me a lot and gave me the sense of being ignored, I was very upset.

Gradually, I realized that I couldn't rely on someone else to help me out if being bored, I have to solve the problem by myself.

I find it much happier doing housework, meeting friends, joining activities than waiting for a person texting back.

If we set up a goal for a person, we can’t get the reward as expected; it is very unreliable because we can’t control it.

Albert Einstein said: If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to people or things.

Therefore, please find out what you enjoy doing, which brings value to the society.

If you start from the first step towards the top of the mountain, trust me, you will meet interesting people, and amazing things will happen to you.

Take myself, for example, a few years ago, I enjoyed texting very much, at that time, I didn’t open up Wechat people nearby, so I couldn’t find many to chat.

When I texted to a few friends in real life, no one replied me; I was not happy at all.

After that, I discovered passion- writing. Since then, my life has been dramatically changed, and I don’t need text to anyone as I am too busy to afford the time.

Now my writing brings value to the followers, and that’s the real happiness I’ve got if some people tell me they learn things from my blogs.

Meanwhile, it keeps me busy and gives me energy and joy.

Most important thing, writing brings me back to the Uni life, that’s the best moment I’ve ever had.

Sorry, friends, please don’t be annoyed if I haven’t replied you, I don’t think I can’t help you out through online chatting.

I wish you discover and do something meaningful which fulfill your potential and live to the fullest.

Please join my wechat subscription: Englishpassion , if you enjoy my blogs

wow,  you write both Chinese and English, that's cool, true, reading is more important than writing actually, without reading, it's very hard to write down innovative ideas.
