One online friend left a comment on my blog: “Since many people, like me, are just ordinary people, and we want to achieve something we want, yet lack of something, such as social connection, money….”
I agree, in China, social relationship plays a vital role; it is related to family background and the circle of friends.
University graduates don’t trust that they can find a decent job; therefore, they are looking for parents, friends, relatives and parents’ friends to help them out.
However, the world is changing, we don’t need a rich dad or a wealthy husband, and we don’t have to wait for someone else to choose us from thousands of candidates.
It doesn’t matter whether we have a Uni degree or not, what kind job we are doing and we don’t have to be perfect- an ideal model set up by the society.
All we need is to discover and develop unique strengths and talents, put effort and time with enough patience, one day we can be our boss- earn money from what we love.
Wechat has been widely used in China; everyone can set up a subscription account to show her talents and find like-minded followers from all over the world.
Writers are the ones who benefit the most from new media, for a professional one, it is not unusual to earn 1 million CNY ($200,000) a year, and it is not impossible to gain more than 10 million profit a year.
One most famous Chinese writer charges 600,000 CNY ($120,000) from one advertisement made on her subscription, the world is going crazy, isn’t it?
But please don't jealous of those writers, that’s their 10, 15 even 20 years’ effort by following their passion.
From the background, the majority writers are from low-income families and rural areas.
Before making money, they have received countless rejection letters from editors and have been mocked by the closest family members including parents: please don’t waste time on writing, that’s unrealistic, you can earn more if help us run a business.
One girl was very scared of her Dad got angry about her writing, so she had to sneak into the internet cafe a few hours a day, once Dad called her, she must leave immediately.
But she has never given up what she loves: writing.
That is passion- she can’t live without it, it is not for money making, and it has become part of her life.
That’s the foundation of success- find what you are passionate about and keep doing it, no one can stop you.
Even there’s no future; you can’t leave it because that brings you joy and happiness.
You might argue you only enjoy reading rather than writing, no worries, why you have to follow someone else, find a unique thing that only belongs to you.
If you enjoy gardening, then please set up a Wechat subscription or use a Facebook and Youtube account, take videos or write blogs to show people how beautiful your garden is.
What kind of flowers you are planting, the name of flowers, how often should you water them?
If you don’t mind, spend the time to teach people how to grow flowers as beautiful as yours.
To start with, you might only have a few followers, but later on, there will be an increasing number of fans joining you.
Of course, that is not only for the number of followers, most important thing; you enjoy doing it from your heart.
It keeps you busy all the time and makes you happy as someone else benefit from your videos and blogs.
Then you are on your way to be successful; you bring value to the society.
At this stage, you don’t earn money at all, but you don’t care.
The main thing, you have no time being bored, you don’t need text friends often to tell them how beautiful your garden is, you don’t have to wait someone visit your garden.
Now your garden is open to the public, people from all over the world can see as long as you are doing a great job.
Gradually, you gain satisfaction if followers tell how lovely your garden is and they have learned a lot from your gardening experience.
That’s the true happiness you’ve ever get, and that’s the different feeling from a rich boyfriend buy you a luxury bag.
While you are enjoying the happy moment communicating with followers, your story will be passed onto their friends, again friends’ friends.
Once your members have reached a certain amount, one day a florist will find you and put an ad on your account; and then you start making money from your dreamed job.
It is a connection economy; you don’t have to be rich or wait someone picks you up, it almost cost nothing to start your story on a Wechat account, all you need is time, effort and enthusiasm.
Now is the time for you to stand out and brave enough to start doing things you love; please don’t waste time.
The door is open to you, it is still a brand new world, and you have to be quick before everyone else is coming.
The traditional industrial system is unreliable; Many graduates can’t find a job with no work experience, so we have to create work for ourselves.
Apparently, a degree no longer guarantees a life we desire; and even people who have a job, not many of us enjoy what we are doing.
And quite a lot of people don’t feel full though they are living a life of luxury because they are not doing what truly matters to them.
Please don’t follow others; the only thing guarantees you success is that you are doing a special thing no one else has ever thought about that.
So please don’t be afraid to be different, that’s the best time for you to enter when there are fewer competitors.
The world is unpredictable; we have to build up a personal brand as early as possible.
One day, if we are not happy about what doing in the company, then we can be our boss because we have accumulated a certain amount of people with same interests who can trust.
As we have set up a goal, we will have a direction in our life, we are making life interesting, and being stronger with lots of self-confidence.

Of course, a good diploma would be competitive. While it does not guarantee that we can be that okay all the time. We face fierce competition.
The advanced high-technology requires people who are versatile and good at studying to improve and keep themselves updated.
The internet has now become the most powerful tool that we can use to search information, gain knowledge, share views and stories, do business all over the world. With a lick, we send messages from Hongkong to the U.S, from the inner remote mainland to developed countries.
The International trade comes to be more convenient by means of internet. We benefit a lot by connecting to the world.
The internet also alters the way we communicate. It provides us more opportunities to realise our dreams. The net has become an extension that we can reach far away than we could ever do.
The writing is quite a good method to improve ourselves and meanwhile share knowledge with others.
Social network makes us much closer. Instant message tools, such as Wechat, and many other apps, just give us the channel to meet more people.
Another thing is that we should never feel there is no chance. The one cannot be adequate even there is a chance while he is not ready with his competence.
Those who are with fame and high income usually get through a tough life before they finally succeed. Luckily, God does not forget them because they are really ready. If there is not WeChat, there could be some other apps and platforms act the same function to have their dreams come true.
