I can't live the way you like
I am a little bit stressed out as I haven’t written down one single word for the blog at 10:30 pm.
James sent me a video, I replied in a polite manner. After that, he told me how beautiful the Bible was as his life has been dramatically altered since he became a Christian.
James would love to share the good feeling with friends he trusted with; I totally understand because I have Christian female friends, who are the most adorable girls I have ever met and they have brought the sunshine to my life.
James is living a happy and fulfilled life, so he highly recommended me read the bible for cultural understanding and English improving purpose.
I do appreciate James who have kept me in mind, but I don’t think I can make the commitment at the moment, so I can’t do it.
Only if one day when ready, then I will devote it, but not now, so I said: “Thank you, but I can’t do what you suggested at this stage.”
In the meantime, we discussed the bible, then 30 minutes, 1 hour passed, and I haven’t done anything on to do list which is related to my big goal.
“Sorry, it was very nice to talk to you, but I must stop talking and texting,” I said bye to James.
A few days ago, two Aussie colleagues came to the city, since we haven’t seen each other for a long time, they were eager to catch up with me.
I rushed to see Mary and Andrew after they were arriving Southbank; I was looking forward to hearing interesting stories from them.
Both Mary and Andrew live in the suburb; they seldom come to the city, they would love to make a happy day and enjoy it as much as they can.
The time I met them, Andrew was drinking beer and Mary was playing pokies at Crown Casino, but I am not a fan of drinking and gambling.
I stood in front of the poker machine and looked at the screen; Mary was very kind asking me to press the button; hopefully, good fortune came to her.
I didn't enjoy it at all, I was expecting fascinating stories from them, but Andrew was getting drunk, and Mary was losing money.
In the end, I could not stand it and told them: “Sorry, guys, I am glad to see you again, but I must leave right now.”
After arriving home, I didn’t have mood doing the reading at all, what a waste of time, my half day was destroyed.
One very helpful Australian English teacher checked my grammar mistakes for free; he made tremendous effort to make corrections for my blog.
I felt so happy when I received the perfect version of my blog and was thinking about one day might be a profession writer- my dream will come true, so I sincerely appreciated his time and effort.
However, after eight hours’ working, doing chores and exercises, writing and reading, I was nearly worn out, when I tried to learn mistakes, I felt like asleep.
Because before posting, I have read the blog over and over and over, I feel exhausted if I read it again, so it’s no more for me.
I know it must be very useful, which is awesome, my English will be improved if I learn from mistakes.
But in the end, I said thanks to the English teacher and told him my real feeling; simply I am not gonna waste his time if I have no energy and passion read corrections later on.
My time is very limited, if I spend a few hours learning grammar mistakes, I shall have to forgo the pleasure of doing the reading.
Since I have been taught grammar in the school for more than ten years, I doubt I have been making much progress in English writing.
So now I am trying to discover a new way of learning English which fits me the most while doing reading and writing, I am having fun rather than focusing on the grammar which I am not very much enjoy.
The other kind friend also gives me suggestions for my blogs posting on Facebook, Twitter and some traveling Websites.
Undoubtedly, the great idea opens my mind, I consider it very useful, again, after 10 hours’ working and traveling, cooking and housework, exercises, and sleeping, there are only 4 hours left.
Therefore, I have to spend the precious time doing what’s on my dream list; otherwise, I can never realize my dream.
I might have to focus on one thing at one time; now I can’t handle Wechat subscription very well, it takes forever to make it an impressive one, I am far behind.
Hence, I have to say no to all my friends and thanks for their kindness. That’s a beautiful thing I have so many friends trying to help me out since I started writing, and I feel truly happy to have lovely friends around.
But if I don’t say no to them, I don't have time to do what I really really want to do.
I do appreciate all my friends for your helpful recommendations, you have warmed me up, but my time is limited, so I have to choose what matters to me.
