用于宣布结束一天的工作，且暗示对工作绩效表示满意，理解为"今天就到这儿吧" （六级卷）
2）to let one's hair down 指轻松、自然，或把心里的话说出来 (网站)
eg1: The president has to make so many official appearances that he seldom gets a chance to let his
hair down and enjoy life like ordinary people.
eg2: Sally, we've been good friends for a long time. But lately I get the idea you are very much upset
with me. I wish you'd let your hair down and tell me what's wrong to make you feel this way.
3) john 厕所 ( eg: I have to go to the john. Wait for me in the car. )
4) spring for 请客 (eg: Let me spring for dinner.)
5) come clean 全盘托出，招供 (eg: The criminal decided to come clean. )
6) third wheel 累赘，电灯泡 (eg: You two go on ahead. I don't want to be a third wheel.)
