When I was looking through weibo the other day, I noticed a piece of weibo. It said that an adult man found in a popular science magazine which wrote the solar system had eight planets and the highest mountain Mount Everest was 8844 meters high. He at first considered it ridiculously wrong but then was astonished to find out the magazine was right.
It sets me thinking. As we grow up, we learn many things which are called common sense. We accept them as perfectly justified and self-evident. What's more, we base our knowledge structure, ideological contents and behavior style on those common senses. However both the world we live and our understanding to it are changing at railway speed. What we believed to be unalterable principles can be subverted at any time. We, young people, are also experiencing this. The new generations have their more brand new common sense as well. They grasp quite a lot of common senses which are new knowledge to us. Somehow it's possible to understand where generation gap comes from.
Anyway, what I want to stress is that modern society is changing with each day passing by. The information we accept in one single day nowadays is probably 1000 times and even more of that of ancient days. To keep up with the society, we must pay more attention to fresh news and learn new technology.

- Time flys, doesn't it? In some cases, the elderly or our relatives can't understand what we are talking about. The main reason I think is about the rapid changes since we may learn new things quicker than them. But I also find it necessary for us to keep in pace the the rapid changes.
