With the development of the society, the number of private cars has sharply risen. There is no doubt that car plays a significant role in our daily life. People can drive to some places conveniently and quickly. Meanwhile when we meet the emergency, car can help us a lot.

However, every coin has two sides. Although cars have many advantages, their disadvantages can't be ignored. Firstly, increasing private cars leads to traffic jam. It is not hard to see the hundreds of cars blocking in the intersection especially on holiday. Secondly, many cars lead to the air pollution. Therefore it is high time that we took actions towards these problems. First, encouraging people to take the public transportation is necessary. At the same time, the budget of transportation facilities should increase.Some transportation can be used to improve the traffic condition, such as airbus which can save places to a great extent. Creating an environment that people prefer to take public transportation. By the way, public transportation is as convenient as private cars nowadays. Besides, in order to solve the traffic problems, cars should be limited by plate number of the car in some particular places and time, especially the center business district and driving speed should be limited in a reasonable range. More underground passageway should be built for passengers safety and promoting traffic condition. For long plan, government can expand some main roads and promote the road condition for a safe driving which is quite important. Besides, underground places should be used to some degrees, several tunnels and underground parking lots can also have a good effect on traffic problems.

At last, I appeal to take more public transportation for environmental development. As citizens, we need to make the city more beautiful instead of endless cars on the road, and we also need to protect the environment.
