Of a traditional family in China, the father provided financial support to maintain the basic need of the whole family and meanwhile, the wife was responsible to attend to the children and do all the chores. Maybe there was a daughter in the family and when she grew up, she would share responsibility of housework for her mother. But now lots of women still hold their jobs after they give birth to babies, as a consequence of which after a tiring day of work, they have to do all the annoying housework, while their husbands may sit on a sofa, watching TV, waiting for the dinner and enjoying the leisure time when the wives was busy with the housework. I guess that it can possibly illustrate the reason why women get hysterical easily and make lots of complaints.
