In order to solve the economic crisis, Japanese launched the war of aggression against China. Nevertheless, the war consumed large amount of social property and resources. The life of the ordinary people had been seriously affected and they all lived in poverty for a very long time.
In the film X-Men, Magneto insists that mutants should rule over the country, consequently he stirred up hatred between mutants and the government. After Mystique killed a scientist who gave strong backing to the sentry plan, the government eventually decided to start the plan. As a result, mutants nearly went extinct.
I hold the view that a war is the worst way to solve problems. It's not good for both sides and sometimes launching a war is drawing fire against oneself.
