A Moment of Embarrassment
There is no doubt that everyone has an embarrassing moment. What’s more, there are different opinions among people as to such a moment. Some people think this moment is no big deal, but some people are too serious about it.
When it comes to a moment of embarrassment in my life, my memories date back to the end of last term.
One morning, I was going to take an exam. But I forgot the place of the examination. So I opened the exam schedule and hurriedly saw a classroom number” s305”. Then I found the classroom and marched in. Once I sat, another problem suddenly awaited me, why don’t I know these people sitting in the classroom? My intuition told me that I must go to the wrong classroom. A cold sweat broke out on the back of my neck. I groped for the exam schedule and checked the room number. I actually took the next place of the exam as a place for this exam. And in the seconds after I realized my mistake I thought if no one had noticed, but as all the students in the classroom were staring at me with a strange sight! My face turned to red at once. Then I got up quickly and sneaked out of the classroom in front of everyone as the laughter died down behind me!
A few days after that, I’ve been thinking about it. My carelessness made others laugh at me, they must have thought I was stupid! I told my roommate about this thing, she said that no one can remember this except me and there is no point in caring too much about it.
Later, I also realized that I had been taking myself far too seriously. Probably everyone had done something equally dumb when they were careless. Therefore, I should relax and don’t care too much about such a trifle.

- You're too nervous about this. Just as your roomate mentioned, no one will remember it except you. So forget it and move on!

- Everyone maybe encounter some incidents embarrassing them. As you say, there is no need for us to take it seriously.

- I find that the topic about embarrassment is very hot here these days. Everyone experiences embarrassment for sometimes. What really makes us embarrassed is that we care too much about others' sights and views. If it is before, I would also have the same reactions as you do, but now, I wouldn't, because I know it's actually we ourselves that make the situation worse. Even if I do something causing others' to laugh, I would just pretend to be calm smiling and sometimes would even joke myself, I find that by doing those, I do not feel that embarassed any more. So don't care that much.
