No Need To Be Shy

Hot 6532 views. 2016-9-15 20:47

One year ago, I first began to wonder what I should do in college when my parents left me alone, standing pitifully in my dormitory. I had no idea that what I should do and how to make the acquaintance of my roommates. I just sat there, keeping my mouth shut and hoping no one would notice me. In order to pretend to be composed, I tried to commence a conversation. Nevertheless, I found that everyone in the dormitory was as nervous as me. And that's when I realized that it made no sense to be shy and nervous. Although popularity was not of great importance, don't take ourselves far too seriously. Just start a conversation whit a friendly smile which may bring you unexpected harvest.

When I was new to the college, I took the same atittude as you ,I doubted  that if this was my own problem. Have read your message, I felt a little conciliative.

The first day when I entered college, I  also felt a sense of loss and did not speak a lot to others. But when I adapted to the new environment, I feel comfortable to communicate with them.

Yeah, there's no need to be shy. Most of the time, we all have the inner struggles about to do or not to do, to say or not to say. Actually, others know nothing about your struggles, so do not be intimidated by your own fears. Just bravely to do what you are thinking about, you would be the greatest person if you can get over your limitations.

In the life, no one is more important than yourself. Do not take them too serious and you will feel more relaxed.

The first time I met my roommate, I had the same feeling as you. But after one person starting the talking, other people relaxed gradually. Be brave to do everything, so that you can adapt the new environment.

I was first-gradish when I was a freshman, I didn't want to make mistakes and I wanted to be perfect, but then I found out that nobody really cares what you are doing, some mistakes are worth making and deserve forgiving.
