A Moment Of Embarrassment

Probably everyone had done something really dumb when he or she entered the university. Although they are no longer freshmen, they still choose to keep it a secret, which can just make them feel better.
What embarrassed me most is that I was getting into trouble over skipping classes. It was a frigid winter morning when I was sleeping soundly in my cozy quilt. The wind roared with rage, which made me intuitively fell the chill. I asked my roommate to do me a favor. The girl assured me that she would help me muddle through if the teacher call the role.
Nevertheless, she gave the show away and was caught red handed. I had no choice but to charge out of my dorm and rushed into the classroom. I had to explained stutteringly in the full blaze of publicity, begging the teacher not to let us fail in the final examination, which really make me feel ashamed and blushed.
I absolutely understood that it was my fault. I shouldn’t be so lazy and I don’t want to go through it again. It’s said that in college everyone has the opportunities to do everything they thought they’d never make. They think that they would be completely forgiven for massive mistakes, which let them break the rules without fear. However, in my mind, we can make mistakes under the premise of not breaking the law. Just as Rousseau says,“ Men was born free, but everywhere he is in chains.” Only by this can we understand the true meaning of life in the university.
