Today, as the representative of our city. I share the responsibility to resolve the traffic problem. Given that the congestion, air pollution and car accidents are related with the fast raising number of private cars, it is necessary for us to make a difference. I'd like to share my threefold solutions with all administrators here.<div>Well, it's significantly to come up with solutions based on the cause of the problems, which lies in the raising rate of private cars. So I think that government's should limit on private cars' number; avoiding one person owns too many private cars, especially those are aiming at increment reasons or showing off. Odd-and-even license plate rule can be applied as well, for the purpose of cutting down the traffic flow. What's more, raising up the price of the gasoline is also effective in dealing with raising rate of private cars.</div><div>Secondly, a series of steps should be taken to replace the need for private cars partially. While cutting down upon private cars' number, the needs of transportation ought be met under the effort of the government. Public transportation could satisfy the citizens' daily needs perfectly, thus encouraging policies are still being called. Government can complete the tract and range of public transportation to meet further needs of citizens. The form of public transportation should be enriched at the same time, various vehicles should be applied in the city for transportation accordingly, such as rental bicycles for narrow streets, chargeable rental cars for wide lands, ferry for waterside town, and so on.&nbsp;</div><div>To put the fire out from the root, we shall raise citizens' awareness about the relationship between traffic problem and private cars' number, and we have to create a buzz that our choice about transportation saves the city's traffic and environment. Certainly, the most effective way to tackle this problem is to convince citizens that the solution for present situation can be made by no other than themselves.</div><div>I hope that my suggestion is helpful in solving the problem.
