Opinions differ on this subject. Some people think that students should put their studying in the first place and there is no need for them to be financially independent. While other people hold that university students should be financially independent as early as possible. In my opinion, I agree with the latter.<div>First, university students can improve the communication skills by doing part time jobs and know how to make reasonable plans, which play an important role in their life, especially when they work in the society. Second, it is necessary for students to know more about the complex society. After graduation, most of university students will work in society, which means they need to be under more pressure and take more responsibilities. If university students try to be financially independent in their school life, they will adapt to the society more easily. Last but not least, being financially independent may also help students become responsible for their study and work.
