My attention was usually drawn to big news when I was watching the news on the internet. Today, however, a piece of small news caught my sight. In the news, a little boy threw a milk box out of the car when his father was driving the car. What will you do if your child does the same thing as this boy? Will you directly drive the car away as if you didn’t see it? Or, perhaps, you even won’t notice these small things. But what this father had done was the wisest choice. He immediately pulled over the car, got out of it and picked the box up. The video didn’t show us what the father said to his child after he got into the car. But I hold the view that what he had done was much better than what he said.

Someone once said that parents are the first and best teachers of their children. I partly agree with him. Before going to school, children virtually spend all their time with their parents. Thus, parents can have a huge influence on them, both good and bad. Hardly can you imagine a father preaching at his child all the time in everyday life. Children are too young to understand what you mean. On the contrary, teaching them by doing things in person is much effective because children are good at imitating their parents’ behavior, though they might not know why. But this can affect them deeply and this effect lasts for their whole life without a doubt. Obviously, this father set a good example for his child and other parents.
