Yesterday, I saw
a movie about marriage. In the movie, the handsome and rich man is refused by
his girlfriend twice. But he is forced to get married before his 30th birthday
according to his grandfather's will. To inherit a fortune from his grandfather,
he does a ridiculous thing that he proposes to all his ex-girlfriends one by
one and even advertises for a life partner in the newspaper. How ludicrous he
is!
What he does let me think a lot about love and marriage. He loves his
girlfriend without doubt but he is afraid of getting married. That because, I
think, he is not willing to sacrifice his freedom for marriage. Marriage, in
some degree, means to make sacrifices for one's family. In this respect, this
man can be depicted as a self-centred and irresponsible guy. Only if one is
able to take responsibility for the family can he or she turns to a good
husband or wife.
