Recently, the news that Chinese supermodel Xi Mengyao fell on the stage of Victoria's Secret has been in the limelight and has aroused wide concern in the public. Many of her friends in the entertainment industry and supporters comforted her by encouraging her to keep going while others condemned her for her carelessness and "unprofessional behaviors". Different people, of course, may hold diverse points of views. Nevertheless, what I would like to mention here is that Xi can learn something from this mistake.

Almost everyone in China knows the fact that Xi emerges frequently in all types of programmes, especially in variety show. The public is likely to see her on television every day. It seems that she is not a model but a star in that because the most part, models should spend more time practising the skills on the runway. It is universally acknowledged that it takes an army of time to shoot a reality show. Xi is invited to be honored guest in quite a few programmes so that she must pay much attention and time to them. Absolutely, she has less time to practice. This might be part of factors triggering her to make a mistake on the Victoria's stage.

No one is perfect. The fact of the matter is that mistakes are a common segment of everyone's life. What the public should do is not to avoid making mistakes but do his or her best to avoid making the same mistakes twice.
