There was a time when I had had difficulty in going to sleep. Neither did I drink coffee nor watch a thrilling movie. What kept clearly in my mind was that I couldn't touch a feeling of being sleepy. After tossing and turning restlessly in bed, I quitted struggling to sleep. In the meantime, a wide assortment of mental activities emerged from my head.
Firstly, it occurred to me that I was observed by a pair of eyes in the deep darkness, which threw me into the most dreadful scene of the horror films I've watched. Covered tightly with the quilt, I could barely breathe in fear of exposing my existence. Few minutes later, overcoming the strong fear, I prayed that falling asleep was accessible to me soon.
As the midnight was approaching, I still wasn't able to catch up with the steps of Sleep. What was worse, the faded memories flashed across my mind, getting more and more vivid. It is painful to me that those embarrassing moments occupied most, which scoffed at my shameful stupidities. However, not attaching importance to the departed time exactly aggravated my guilty. Not only did I regret not to study hard in the daytime, but also feel sorry for not living up to parents' expectations. Even though I tired my best to expel these thoughts from my head , I was awake continuously.
It remained a myth that when I drifted into sleep. What impressed me most was that owning a nice sleeping was happier than anything if I was eager to rest. Thankfully, I fall asleep as soon as I touched the pillow in the college.
