The Great Blue Yonder

Hot 41302 views. 2017-12-3 16:32

I read a book named The Great Blue Yonder, which clarifies a ten years old boy who met his death in a car accident. But he still missed his own parents, sisters, teachers and his friends. The boy was regret and there was filled with guilt to those things that he did to his sister before the car accident happened in his heart. Nevertheless, he died and it was impossible to live again. One day, he met a ghost who named Arthur. Consequently, the boy slipped back home with Arthur's guide. Eventually, he received his sister's forgiveness and he let her know how much he loved her then put down his regret and went to heaven.

I lost myself in deep thought after reading this story. We seldom talk about the topic of death. That is the one big taboo of the majority of people. As a matter of fact, death is a kind of wisdom. There is a saying that a person's attitude towards death will determine his or her attitude toward life.

The story told us that we should cherish the life and don't have to be afraid to die. In addition to this, we should be a person who is honest, virtuous. We should cherish everyone around us. Be brave to make new friends and never forget the old friends. At least, a person should watch a sunrise once a whole life. Most importantly, we should forgive everything before we go to bed. We never know what will happen in the future. We don't know if there will be an opportunity for us to love someone who makes us angry and loves us so deep in his or her heart.

At last, best wishes to you.

I always think the death is a grave topic for that the feeling of death is horrible. But many writers can explain it in nice ways, such as the book you read. What we should to do is not be affraid to death but cherish the moment we spend.

Until now I still couldn't understand the ture death. I think if there is a person who still remember the dead man, it means the man still alive. And I feel lucky there are so many people I love and love me . I wil cherish them forever.

I have read this book, The Great Blue Yonder, when I am a high school student. I felt little sad and warm. Last month, I read a book named The Seventh Day written by Yuhua, which tells a story like the above one. I suggest you reading it in you free time. Life and love are forever topic during our life. We should chiresh our life, give our love to others and forgive everyone before go to bed.

In China, we never talk a lot about death. It seems to serious. Nevertheless, I watched a film called Coco, which illustrates a whole new idea about death. Death is not the end of our life and on the contrast, it's the new beginning. A man only dies when there is no one remembering him.
I'll read the book next week and change my reading view with you!

However, after reading this story, I was suddenly relieved of something. I guess my grandma must went to a beautiful place which named The Great Blue Yonder. Because she was so  nice person when she was alive.
