Over a month ago, I saw an information about being a volunteer who would serve for a hospital. It draw my attention, and then I filed for it.

Overall, its scope of service can be parted into three parts, including one-step service in the front of the hospital, pharmacy and clinical laboratory. The main job content was offer help to patients. I was arranged at the one-step service to input the identification about the patients. I was nervous when I began to work. It was of great difficulty to remember every step so that I recorded slowly. Some patients understood me very well and they even encouraged me to do it slowly. I was very relieved when I saw the smile on their faces. And I took a pride in helping others. But other patients were discontented for my job; they thought I had wasted their times and they were very irritable. Although I knew I had many deficiencies, I really hoped that they could comprehend my situation.

After working a whole afternoon, I felt thankful and aggrieved, proud and disppointed. I figured that patients should understand the medical workers and the volunteers. Provide that you are more friendly to them, they will be more conscientious to you.
