When it comes to work or family, I suppose the majority of the population will choose family with no hesitation. There is no doubt that family is always the first place in our mind, which is definitely reasonable. Nevertheless, I want to point out that they aren't in the opposite position. We can balance family and work.
First and foremost, it's universally acknowledged that economy is the foundation of the family. Under no circumstances can we talk about having happy hour with our family without money, which means we can't overlook the importance of the work in the cause that it can maintain our basic material needs and higher spiritual pursuits. Nevertheless, we cannot work all the time. We are supposed to spent enough time with our family, which is our solid support whenever and wherever. Last but not least, we should keep it in mind that we cannot put them in the opposite position, but provided that there is any conflict, family comes first, always and forever. The reason is that family is your harbour of refuge, while work can't give you that.
All in all, the old saying "Laziness in youth spells regret in old age" may be sensible advice. It is a must for us to cherish the golden time to work hard so that we could promise a brighter future not only for ourselves but our family. What really matters is that we are able to do the time management. Only in that can we balance our work and family scientifically.
