There is no denying that donation is a charitable act to benefit the most disadvantaged as well as a generous offer to those in need. But sometimes people who donate money to the needy are apprehensive about where the money actually goes. Actually, had it not been for what the media have revealed, I wouldn't have realized that the donated money and goods are embezzled or taken by the charity organizations which place a high moral value seen from the outside. Thereby I want to put forward a question: how can we solve this problem jointly instead of shielding it maximally?
First and foremost, to avoid falling into this hideous trap, I think it is wise to adopt a third-play organization to audit the donation and publish the results periodically. On a personal note, publishing the auditing results will guarantee transparency, which, in turn, will lead to the increased accountability of the operation. Furthermore, strict measures should be taken by our government to wipe out such despicable behavior and safeguard the justice of society. Our government should play a significant role of supervision to monitor the charity foundation, which could easily pocket the donated money and goods at their will.A check-and-balance system is supposed to be established to make sure the results are acsesscible to each donor. Secondly, when we decided to donate money to people who are in trouble, we must promote our vigilant consciousness. It is necessary for us to consult with seniors to find a formal donation organization, or we may fall prey to some unsympathetic foundations.
All in all, the achievement of neutrality and transparency in donation foundations is urgent. In this way, more and more people are willing to make donations, just because they are assured that every penny really counts. By the way, there are more and more unfair even despicable phenomena happen all around us. Some bloggers on micro blog say thay justice maybe late sometimes, but it can never be absent. From my viewpoint, sometimes it is meaningful to articulate our inner voices to support those people in need, but what matters is that we should realize social responsibilities attached to us. We can't decide what other people are doing, but we can decide what kind of people we want to be.
