Chen Guanming: the crazy grandpa traveling around the world

Nowadays, a heated topic reported by BBC News attracts the public. The famous Chinese grandpa, Chen Guanming, was knocked down by a track in Argentina and never came to life. To our dismay, he died on that day precisely he finished his 61th birthday.
Chen Guanming started riding tricycle across China since 2001. A year after the Olympic Games held in Beijing, Chen managed to go abroad riding his simple shabby tricycle, which was repaired repeatedly during the past 19 years.
France, the UK, Canada, the United States, Brazil...... he traveled so many countries alone across almost half of the world. Chen promoted the spirit of the Olympic Games calling for peace and happiness, and picked up litter outside the stadium to arouse people's attention of protecting the environment. What's more, he rode the tricycle at the height of 7600m in Tibet. No sponsorship, no food, no shelter. The most vital reason supporting him is the strong belief deep in his mind: patriotic feeling. Besides, he also stated that he truly appreciated the help offered by countless strangers. Strong backing, including precious friendship, respect, encouragement and praise supported him and helped him go through the difficulties.
There will always be some people who regard Chen as a lunatic stubborn old man, however, I hold the opposite views. What impressed us deeply was that the old man magnified the meaning of his life, and we should feel obliged to make reflects on ourselves. No matter our ages are, we should make full use of our lives, and achieve every goal we set from the beginning. Considering all the marvelous things the old grandpa has realized, we have no reason to indulge ourselves in time-wasting trivial and procrastinate until the next day. Doing countless things in limited time is my principle, and I will stick to it forever. At last, I'd like to end this essay with a saying cited by our president," never forget why you started, and you will accomplish your mission."

In my mind, he is not odd and obsinate but unique.He hlod on his own dream and implement on it.Reflecting on ourselves, we also should stick on our initial mind and keep going ahead.
