The old house was torn down when I was eleven. Though the present house that I live in is comfortable, I miss the old house very much. The old house had three rooms. The middle room is the drawing room. The rest two rooms are living room.The ground was rugged. There are some cracks in the wall. In fact, the old house was a bit shabby. However, I was born in the old house. I spent my whole childhood here.

In front of the old house were some trees and a vegetable plot. In summer, I often run under the shade of trees to enjoy the cool. At that time, I played outside in a sweat with my partner. At lunch time, my mother would call me to eat lunch. In summer,the happiest thing was to eat watermeion in the drawing room which had an electric fan. At that time, there was no air conditioning and cold drink. However, I felt very satisfied. Now, we have air conditioner and other electric appliances. In summer, I can eat ice cream in a cool room. I can drink cola while watching films. However, I am not very happy. I would rather eat watermeion in the old house. I miss my old house even more. However, the old house has been torn town. The trees in front of the old house were also cut down. I can only miss my old house in memory.
