Mcdonalt's is the Winner

On October 25th,2017, the official website of Mcdonald's announced that its company in China was renamed "Jin Gong Men", which led to an intense debate in China in that the name is too countrified to be accepted. A great many individuals made fun of it, and quite a few enterprises advertised their own brands by virtue of utilizing it, but, by contrast, there were still groups of people supporting it.

As far as I am concerned, it's sensible for Mcdonalt's to change its name. For one thing, as a movie named The Founder says that when Mcdonalt's Brothers, the founder of Mcdonalt's, established the restaurant, the golden arch was their first choice, which can be an attractive element of design of the restaurant. Accordingly, rustic as the name is, it perfectly shows the key concept of the enterprise.

For another, the possiblity that the action is another way of marketing strategy can't be refused for the reason that the countrified name is spread at such a high rate of speed and so many marketing personnels air their opinions on this issue that Mcdonal's can advertise itself for free.

Anyway, though the name is mocked, Mcdonalt's is the winner.

I support your viewpoints to some degree. Actually Golden Arches is the symbol of McDonald not only in appearance but also in embedded value. It even represents the managing theory of this world-renowned brand. To be honest, people don't reject the delicious food and refuse enjoying the convenience fast food brings just on account of the countrified name. We all know.

Yeah, you are right. People still go to McDonald even if it renamed "Jin Gong Men". People laughed at his new name maybe just to make fun. Anyway, "JIN GONG MEN" is the winner

In my opinion, McDonald's is very smart to change its name to the golden arch. As you say, this may be a different marketing tool considering the public's gaze was instantly drawn. Maybe we'll all go to McDonald for meals  because it changed its name. Hahaha^^ I am just joking.

It is said that the Golden Arches are the first franchisees of McDonald's in Phoenix, and the appearance of the storefront uses two large golden parabolic structures for the first time. In the 1960s, the two parabolic elements joined together and became the current M model. Perhaps, the Golden Arches is McDonald's earliest visual image.

YEP.That's also what I want to say. Maybe I didn't articulate the meaning in the passage. As a loyal customer of Mcdonalt's, I was shocked at the countrified name at first, but hardly when learning what the name means can I definitely understand.

Maybe many companies will intend to change their names in the next few years for sake of brand awareness! By then, we are likely to accept suchlike countrified names more easily.

Hahaha^^ But, in fact, there will not be any changes in the appearance of  its restaurants including the name so we don't need to pay too much attention to it.

Wow, I didn't know that before. Well, anyway, I do think that it's really wise for Mcdonald's to use the elemene of M not only for its attraction but its fashion.
